01We don't use cookies

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Many sites use them to track visitors or show adverts.

This site doesn't set any cookies. You can confirm that in your browser's settings while you're on the site.

There is one small exception, and it isn't a cookie. If you close the “want a price?” box that can appear as you leave, we save a note of that in your own browser so it doesn't pester you again for a month. It holds nothing but the date, never leaves your device, and isn't used to identify or track you. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

02What we don't use

  • No Google Analytics, and nothing that builds a profile of you.
  • No advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • No social media tracking pixels.
  • No chat widgets or other third-party scripts that follow you around.
  • Nothing that tracks you from one website to another.

03The analytics we do use

We do want to know roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful, so we use Plausible Analytics. It's a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics:

  • It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
  • It doesn't collect personal data or store your IP address, and can't identify you.
  • It doesn't follow you to other websites, and the data isn't sold or shared.
  • Its data is stored in the EU.

What we see is anonymous and counted in totals: how many visits a page got, which site or search sent them, roughly which country, and whether people tapped the phone number or sent a quote request. We can't see who you are.

04Other services the site uses

Three outside services are involved. None of them sets cookies:

  • Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests our typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser information.
  • Plausible Analytics. Counts anonymous visits, as described above.
  • FormSubmit. Only if you submit the quote form, it receives your details to deliver them to us.
